Deepsong
Leviathan, Lord of the Blue

Symbol: A star formed from six ocean waves.
Deepsong always appears as a massive whale-like creature, easily dwarfing the largest ships in size. Several strange features mark it as something more than natural. Two pairs of enormous front flippers fan outward from its body. Six eyes are arranged in two rows along the head, each eye glows softly in the deep.
Beneath its mouth hangs a beard of catfish-like feelers or tentacles. These drift through the water like delicate instruments. Lastly, its entire body is covered in glowing patterns that pulse in regular patterns. It is said that when Deepsong sings, these lights shift and ripple across its body like a symphony written in light.
Deepsong is contemplative and distant. Unlike gods who command or judge, Deepsong simply observes and remembers. It glides through the dark abyss listening to the ocean’s endless chorus of whale calls, cracking ice, crashing waves, and the hissing growth of volcanic islands.
Followers believe the god rarely interferes with mortal affairs, but occasionally shares fragments of its song with musicians, sailors, and dreamers. Some legends say that Deepsong taught early mortals how to make music.
