The Gods Without Number shattered under her own grief, leaving nothing but a crescent of silver and an uncountable number of tiny flames hanging in the night sky. Each flame a flickering mote of her pain.
She once was singular and whole, a god in full power and countenance. No mortal remembers her true name or domain of influence. Now split into an uncountable number of shards of pure emotion and essence. Their influence is slight and can only be felt at night, within the dreams of mortals.
