Arresh of the Tide

Symbol: A large shell enclosing a smaller shell with a crack running through it.
Arresh manifests as a colossal crustacean, larger than most ships. When Arresh rests its shell becomes a reef, coated in coral, drifting kelp, and swarming with sea creatures of all kinds. When Arresh awakes its shell splits and molts. Entire reefs form on the discarded husks of Arresh, eventually becoming islands. When on the move, the sea behaves strangely. Tides rise out of rhythm. Currents shift. Entire shorelines can be reshaped by Arresh.
Arresh is not cruel, but it is utterly indifferent to permanence. To Arresh, nothing is meant to stay the same. Cities drown. New islands rise. Species evolve. Empires vanish. Followers believe Arresh teaches a simple truth:
“Those who cannot change will eventually drown.”
Arresh respects endurance and clever adaptation. Creatures that survive against impossible odds are considered blessed by the tide-lord.
